2. 30 Senior Housing Units-- Green-Built Single Story Condominium Clusters
30 single-story Senior Housing Condominium units designed in cluster units in a Community Land Trust. Monthly lease payments are based on ownership and/or rental whereby a series of single story buildings are divided into several units that are each separately owned or rented, surrounded by common areas that are jointly owned. Green cluster development makes use of open space development for the grouping of residential properties on a development site to use the extra land as recreational open space and agriculture for shared garden areas.
Permaculture cluster site design uses waste, storm water management design features by maximizing over land water flow and the strategic use of land forms and plants to slow, hold, and treat runoff, most stormwater can be handled. There many design techniques to deal with wastewater such as community drain fields, irrigation systems, and package plants that can dramatically reduce the cost of infrastructure and improve the environment.
